About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Principal Data Lead to serve as a primary client-facing advisor for business intelligence, analytics, data platforms, and application data enablement. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise data and analytics strategy, cloud-native data platforms, data architecture, BI, AI/ML, and modern analytics solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for translating business objectives into actionable data and analytics strategies and providing technical and architectural leadership across data, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Act as a primary client-facing advisor for business intelligence, analytics, data platforms, and application data enablement.
Define and drive enterprise-scale data, analytics, and AI strategies.
Architect and advise on data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, integrations, and APIs.
Design BI solutions, executive dashboards, KPIs, and enterprise analytics frameworks.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable business insights.
Translate business objectives into effective data and analytics strategies.
Support advanced use cases involving AI/ML, Generative AI, regulatory reporting, and analytics modernization.
Lead the design of cloud-native data platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Design and guide lakehouse, streaming, and real-time analytics architectures.
Guide the implementation of AI/ML, GenAI, and advanced analytics solutions within business workflows.
Review critical technical designs, source code, data pipelines, analytical models, and data governance frameworks.
Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact technical, data, and architectural challenges.
Drive data governance, data quality, data lineage, privacy, and security frameworks.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise data solutions.
Work in various unanticipated locations throughout the United States as required.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, technology, or related roles.
Strong experience in enterprise data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence.
Hands-on knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, integrations, and APIs.
Experience designing BI solutions, executive dashboards, KPIs, and analytics frameworks.
Strong understanding of cloud-native data platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience with lakehouse, streaming, and real-time analytics architectures.
Knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, and advanced analytics implementation.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage, privacy, and security.
Excellent client-facing, communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making abilities.
